Can I set any limit of tokens or messages for my chatbots?
Yes, go to Chat > Settings > Limit to set message limit for each thread. Currently we support setting limits for the number of threads and the number of messages per thread.
How can I invite other people to my workspace?
We are still working on implementing Seats, with Seats you will be able to invite your clients to view their chatbot and conversations. This is still in development and will be released in couple of weeks.
How can I train my bot with all links from my sitemap?
We currently support html sitemaps. XML sitemap support is in progress.
Hi, I'm currently setting up my accout. Is there a way to create a bot without having to purchase a model plan?
Not really, you need to bring your own key to use re:tune. Hence you will need an active openai account with a payment method added to it.
After purchasing the Tier 4 / Max plan, will I be able to assign each chatbot to a different API key?
You can use different API keys on separate workspaces, so with T4, you can use unlimited API keys
Will the Whitelabel environment provide a custom Cname, custom tag, and Retune tag removed?
Yes, you can already add custom CNAME to each workspace. Although we still have retune branding, we are working to remove them in coming weeks.
Can I create a bot that works only when the user selects predefined button options so that I can disable manual input?
This is probably not the best use case for retune, at least for the time being. Our chatbot is conversational, and we don't yet have option to add manual options.
Can I build a chatbot that requires user authentication in someway during the chat before they proceed asking other questions? By user authentication I don't just mean capturing user details but a way to validate their purchase of a product for example.
It's not possible yet, however this sounds like something that could be powerful and I'm curious to hear more about your use-case in details.
If we don't want to have this as a chat widget but show as a standalone page, is it possible?
Yes, you can also embed the chatbot as an iframe within a page in your website, which can be full height and width if you want. You can also share the chatbot with a link - which you can get by clicking on the Share button in Chat > Conversation (beside auto-prompt) button.
Are there any limits as such on number of users/messages that can parallelly have a conversation with out bot?
No, there's no limit on that!
Can you explain the difference between a personal chatbot and a published chatbot?
A published chatbot can be embedded in a website as a pop-up or iframe widget. Where a personal chatbot is only accessible from dashboard - meant for personal use only.
Are webhooks in the roadmap? Would make the tool more powerful.
Yes! We are working on it. Webhooks are going to be BIG!
Will the chatbot be able to learn from interactions with customers and improve its efficiency and effectiveness?
We are working on a way for admins to upvote / downvote answers or even rewrite an answer entirely to continuously train the chatbot.
What is the level of personalization that is possible?
You can personalize bot name, icon, widget color, position, initial greetings. Is there any particular personalization option you'd like?
What are the integrations available?
Right now, we have whatsapp and SMS (with Twilio) integration for training, with messenger, telegram, instagram and zapier coming very soon. We also have youtube video integration for training.
Can the dashboard/report has the same language of my customers, like in Italian for example? Otherwise, there is a way to translate myself
We are working on making it possible to translate all parts of the chat widget. However, translating the full dashboard is still probably a couple months away
Are there any storage or memory limitations? For example, any ceilings on the number of websites I can feed for scraping, or limits on storage? Also, any restrictions on URLs that I should be aware of?
There are no theoretical limit on memory, but note that the AI is not yet great for processing GBs of data at once, so you might want to use only the best sources because using generic data will result in subpar quality.
Can the output give references to where the information is coming from?
It's not possible yet, however we are working on it and it will be possible soon.
Hi, can I add team members as users and assign them certain websites/clients?
We are working on this so you can have Seats to invite other collaborators to your workspaces.
I cannot find where we can publish a URL link to the chatbots. Where can we share the URL of a chatbot?
You can find the share button besides the Auto-prompt button.
Is there a file limit size or word count limit on PDFs to be uploaded as a source?
There's no formal limit, however if the upload process takes more than a minute, it might fail sometimes.
Do we need to have subscription with Open AI, and bring our own API?
Yes, you need to bring your own key. You need to sign up in platform.openai.com (not chatgpt) and add a payment method in https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/payment-methods
Can we collect leads, before a user start chatting we ask for name, and email for example? How can we pass these leads to our application. Do you have an API that we can use?

What security protocols do you follow? For example ISO27001, HITRUST, SOC II, etc. to safeguard user data?
We follow engineering best practices, and haven't audited any of the security protocols you've mentioned. From my experience with working at companies who have implemented these formal protocols to get certified (specially at healthcare startups I consulted at), I can say we implement almost all of them (which is easier when the team is small). However we haven't applied for any security certifications yet and will do so in couple months once we have more bandwidth. Is there any chance to filter the conversations made to see only those in which someone wrote to the chatbot?
We are working on a way to only create a new thread if an user sends a message, and we will clean up all previous empty threads too - this way you'll only see non-empty conversations.
Can you train the bot with right or wrong answers and give it correct information?
The ability to upvote / downvote / edit answers, and automatically re-train the chatbot from human feedback is in progress.
Can I integrate retune with automation tools? In order of preference: n8n (preferred), make.com, zapier?
We are working on zapier integration right now, which will be available very soon. However, the work we are putting in zapier integration, specially creating the triggers and actions, will make it easier for us (or even our users!) to integrate with other automation tools too shortly after.
What are all the channels that I can publish the chatbot to? My main interest are: Microsoft teams, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, Slack, Instagram.

Could you tell me how to connect a custom domain?
You can set up your custom domain in the settings page. Go to https://retune.so/settings, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the option to set up your custom domain.
Can I place the chatbot in the middle of my website? If so, do you have a sample where I can see how it looks?
Of course! You can use our <iframe> embed code (you can find in Chatbot > Publish) to do this.
Everything can be translated from chat widget to our own language? Include validation messages and all texts that appears on widget?
Although the chatbots can be configured in any language, the dashboard is still in english. We want to start translation efforts in ~2 months once we get the most requested features done.
Can we create subaccounts and set how many chatbots this account can create?
You can create workspaces, but I don't think they can be considered subaccounts in that sense. They are more like separate spaces so you can build separately for each of your clients and potentially invite them.
The cname and whitelabel is per subaccount or can be used only one time for our global main account?
Custom domains are per workspace, so you can have multiple.
Does it work for business website? Let say i've a fishing blog i want it to be able to chat with my reader and promote fishing product etc.
Of course! You can train the bot with your blogs, and then instruct it to promote your products in the chat.

For Tier 4, can I connect a custom domain per chatbot or workspace?
You can configure separate custom domain per workspace.
Can the bot scrape an entire website with just one website link? Can the bot scrape a website using a sitemap, for example: https://example.com/sitemap.xml
XML sitemap extraction is under development. For the time being, you can either user a HTML sitemap or scrape up to 200 urls at once by pasting them in the dashboard.
Quick question to clarify, is this strictly for internal facing chatbots for say lead gen?
Personal chatbots are internal, published chatbots are external (can be added in website). With T4, you can add your bot to unlimited websites.
Can we transfer the chat to agent, live human? It seems you mentioned this is coming, one user requested SMS to notify the agent of the transfer alert. Which sounds cool!
Yes, we are planning to ship human agent/takeover support in 3-4 weeks, so a human can take over any conversation at any time.
Is it possible to integrate re:tune to something like Hubspot's Chatflows/Conversation?
I personally don't have much idea about Chatflows, but as long as they support outgoing / incoming webhooks, this can be done.
Is there any integration comming for Woocommerce?

Can I build all kind of chatbots? Is there any limitations? For example can I build for sales, lead generation, product recommendation or employees chatbot trainer.
With the current models, as long as the contents are not illegal or NSFW, you should be able to build for any use case.
Can I use this software for my Chatbot agency and sell it to other business?
Hey! You can definitely sell the chatbots since they can be published in any website, you can even use your own custom domain or subdomain in the embed code.
What does it mean custom domain and how many Custom domains?
Usually when you embed a chatbot or share any thread, for example, it will have a retune.so link (eg: https://retune.so/...) With custom domain feature, you can have your own domain to host and share the chatbots (eg: https://yourdomain.com/...)
Since we bring in our own API key, how do we prevent misise? Like user may keep asking unnecessary questions endlessly.
You can set limits on - length of output - numbers of messages a user can send every day / week / month etc - numbers of new threads that can be created You can find these settings in Chat > Settings > Limits, we are working on even more ways to control usage and prevent misuse, like rate-limiting based on IP address, token count and more.
I'm a ChatGPT Plus user but I don't pay for the API via OpenAI. Do I have to be a paying user of the OpenAI API to use this service?
Yes, you need an active OpenAI account (platform.openai.com), with a payment method added. You don't need a subscription as it's pay-as-you-go.
Is training included in tier 4 or do we have to pay for each training to Open Ai or Claude?
Hey, you need to bring your own key for training. We use OpenAI Embedding model for training ($0.1 per million tokens), and we have 10+ other models available for chat (from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and more)
Can we assign a specific OpenAI API per bot?
Although you can't directly assign API to a bot, you can create separate workspaces and assign different API keys to each workspace - so if you have the chatbots in separate workspaces, you can use different API keys.
Can the chatbot be personalized to engage leads based on their past interactions or data?
Yes! This comes out of the box! Our chatbots remember all previous interactions, and hence can use them to continue any conversation.
Could I upload all my previous proposals into it for consultancy gigs and then ask it to draft me a new 5 page proposal in response to a document that I upload?
Hey! The chatbots are still best for conversational use cases, and not for long form content generation in one try. What you can do though, is upload your data and then iteratively generate a new proposal, like, 1. hey generate an outline for X 2. expand the first section of the outline 3. update the first section to include / exclude Y, Z 4. expand the second section, ... etc
Is rest api available or its listed on roadamp? For example to build application based on your app its important to have access of api. And the use case scenarios will be limitless. Hope you plan to implement it soon.

Hey DJ, I wanted to ask, with infinite memory of previous chats and history, will your platform be able to run some basic analytics report on the history for most used words, most used phrased etc. so for example if you had a retailer that sold suits and people keep asking for purple suits by providing the basic analytic the owner will see that the demand for purple suit is high and will try and get some purple suits in, or in a Saas company like your common phrases and words, will inform you guys what features regular visitors (that might not be hardcore enough to know about your roadmap) are looking for from you product. A feature like that on whitelabeling tier will be incredibly valuable for our customer and it will truly set you guys apart even further.
This will be a game-changer feature. This is not supported yet though, since they AI still can't "analyze" numbers etc. We have a code-interpreter plugin on the roadmap, that will be able to do these sort of analysis on your data. What is the difference between Unlimited personal chatbots and One (1) Publiahed Chatbot?
Published chatbots can be added to any website as pop-up widgets. Personal chatbots are for personal usage (eg: your personal assistant, coding guide, copy writer etc)

We haven't had a chance to review orimon in details yet, (we should probably at this point!). Hi, how secure is the data that is uploaded onto your platform? A lot of businesses are concerned about data privacy. For example: - Is there any data sharing or are they fully self-contained bots with no data sharing between bots? - SOC 2 compliance - Encryption - Are you able to access the files uploaded? or only authorized users can query the data? - Does data uploaded end up on OpenAI or Anthropic's servers to be trained for their LLMs? - Can you share with us your data privacy principles and policies so businesses know their data is safe?
There's no data sharing between accounts - unless you invite collaborators to view your data (coming soon) We are not SOC2 compliant yet. All data are encrypted in AWS S3, and only the retune engineering team can access the key. How many user accounts do you get for each Tier?

Is it possible to set up a list of questions that you would like the bot to ask? For example if you are generating leads on facebook messenger and you want it to ask for name, emails phone, number of pets etc but you want it to do it in a casual conversational way. Also, I want it to be able to answer questions. With answers based on my inputs.
Yep! Capturing fields in a natural way is one of our most requested features in the roadmap - https://retune.so/roadmap/22 The way we are building it would make it possible for you to define which fields you want to extract from the users (eg: name, email, age etc to even more complex ones like "how likely they are to buy movie tickets", and the AI will figure out how to lead the conversation in a way that would extract all these information - that you'll be then able to view and export from a dashboard. Let us know if we are on the right track and if you'd like us to consider any other use-cases as we are building this.
I don't have an OpenAI Key. Does Re:tune come with out of the box tokens?
You need to bring your own key to use retune. We provide the frontend, chat storage, infinite memory for each chat thread (beyond context length), computing for uploading your your data and training with them and more. You can have unlimited users and messages because of that, because since you are bringing your own key, we don't need to put any artificial constraints on your usage.
Do you have Shopify integration or planning on adding it?
You can integrate the chatbot to any platform that support adding a custom <script> tag in HTML (like shopify, woocommerce and more).
